A survey carried out by CEPEA (Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics) revealed that compared to the previous year, there was an increase of about 839 thousand people employed in agribusiness during the second quarter of 2022, which results in a 4% increase. .6%.
The result of this rise is about 19.09 million people employed in the sector. This number is significant because since the same period in 2015, when the population of employed people reached 19.18 million, the agricultural labor market has not been so heated, which shows a great recovery in relation to the instability caused by the pandemic. .
Also according to the survey, by the second quarter of 2022, new opportunities have arrived for different profiles of market workers. Employees, self-employed and those with different levels of education, from basic to higher education, were included in the statistics, which indicates that the sector does not value only graduate professionals. Women were also responsible for most of the occupation of vacancies during this period.
